Avec seulement 5000 copies sorties de l'usine, Panorama Cotton est un des 10 jeux les plus rares sortis sur Megadrive. 300 exemplaires était vendu avec un tasse à thé à l'effigie de l'héroïne. Avec sa vue en 3D à la Space harrier et bien avant Panzer Dragon, Ce rail shooter et ses sprites assez impressionnants pour une megadrive est devenu culte au Japon.
